Tonya D. Floyd

Tonya Dwan Floyd (formerly Shields) was born August 23, 1970 in Washington, DC.  She grew up in the inner city, graduated from Theodore Roosevelt Senior High in 1988, and immediately went to work for the Federal Government, where she is still employed. Tonya briefly attended the University of the District of Columbia, then the University of Maryland where she studied Psychology and Business Management.  Tonya comes from a large family, and has three younger brothers.  She currently resides in a suburb of Washington, DC with her husband, children, and their pet Rottweiler.

Tonya has also been an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics since 1998, and she absolutely loves it.  She has written editorials on various topics for the Prince George's Post newspaper.  Her hobbies include bowling; watching football (How 'bout them Cowboys?!), basketball (Go Wizards!), and most other sports; working puzzles; playing board games; and of course, writing.  The most rewarding hobbies are those which include spending time with her family.

You think I’m rude, abrasive as well.  Quite frankly, I do not care.

Intelligence, motivation, and very strong will are part of my allure.
