Claim it.

Don't be afraid to dream a big dream and put it together too. Years ago in Mary Kay, my Director told us "If your dream doesn't scare you to death, it's not big enough!" I've learned to use that theory when setting goals for myself, and it helps me to avoid that complacency monster that threatens to steal my good energy and ideas. I refuse to settle when I don't have to, but I choose to be still at times because the time isn't right for a specific pursuit. Then, when I've prayed on it and I'm sure the time is right, I just go. I was put here for a purpose; I must fulfill that purpose, and it has nothing to do with doing nothing. Another quote comes to mind when I feel I'm in over my head--from Marianne Williamson: "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." And then I don't feel so overwhelmed. I feel obligated to complete whatever it is I thought I should be doing in the first place. And life goes on.
