Loving it!

August 11, 2010

I opened up my email just now and I was so excited by the bells n whistles. It's like wow! But that's not today's topic. I am in class this week, trying to stay awake and on task. I couldn't help but drift off when I thought about Kyle and how he's learning and growing. I must mention how vital and life-saving it is to have a good, reliable, attentive child care provider as a partner, because she has that dude doing so much with his brain. Apparently they have an agreement where he gets what he wants by asking for it, either by pointing or saying some of his few words. He gets his own (healthy) snack when the fridge door opens. Yesterday dude demolished a nectarine on the way home (10 minutes away), and when I frantically searched for the seed, it was where he left it--by the seatbelt, clean. If the skin gets in the way of his 2.4 teeth, he hands it to the nearest person.

That got me to thinking about how each of my jewels mimics the mother. My poor Edge--it's my fault he can't focus in school, or be still. I'm sitting here now writing you because I finished my assignment a long time ago. Duh, how easy was that?! And these people who all make more than me can't do it without help. They're lucky I have my phone to occupy me cause I got the sucky PC without Outlook!

Poor Ari--she's really brilliant, you know. She has this intuition, perception, and creativity about her. But same issue. As I sit beside the girl who KEEPS looking on MY screen, I think "Dag, mind your business broad!" Then she keeps talking to her neighbor about what I'm doing. I knew I didn't like something about her.
Then these folks always make me work in a group. I wanna raise my hand and say "Tonya does not play well with others." Hate groups!

Every now and then, you gotta face the truth about you.
My name is Tonya, and I am a lunatic.
